DJ Kid Tree

In 2009 Kid emailed Bernard Youmans from GoYe DJs & asked for the opportunity to become a part of their DJ team. Kid sent in mixes & Mr. Youmans responded. Kid Tree stated that Go Ye DJs was the best organization he’d ever been a part of. He also stated that Go Ye was the final destination for his musical career. Kid Tree also said, “I know God has found a musical foundation in which will allow me to show the world how much talent he has given me. I found my musical family with Go Ye DJs. They are wonderful men of God & I thank him for this great opportunity.” 
Kid Tree’s accomplishments with Go Ye Djs include opening for Bobby Brown, Mikki Howard, Zapp, Angela Winbush, Keith Washington, Tony Terry, the late Vesta Williams, S.O.S. Band, Howard Hewitt, Angie Stone, Alyson Williams, Larry Graham, A Taste of Honey, Loose Ends,Whodini, Keith Sweat, Steve Harvey, Midnight Starr, Lenny Williams, Cherelle, Dazz Band, Brick, Klymaxx, Freddie Jackson & Big Boi of Outkast. Kid Tree says he is at his best in his career & will continue to grow within his multi-talented musical abilities.

Newton County Community Band & Mass Community Choir

Under the direction of Mr. Alan Fowler, Band Director at Eastside High School, the Newton County Community Band is composed of volunteer musicians of all ages who enjoy weekly rehearsals and present free community concerts throughout the year, including a holiday and spring concert, as well as an annual patriotic concert during Independence in the Park on the Covington Square.
